Bird’s Eye View Coaching

Then, Bird’s Eye View Coaching is for you. This affordable one-time consultation includes a high-level written assessment of a draft or idea and a follow-up conversation to discuss feedback and next steps. Rates start at $75/hour.

Book and Dissertation Coaching

  • Do you want check-ins, feedback, and support over the long haul?

  • Worried you're too ADHD to write a book or finish that dissertation? (You aren't!)

This project-based service is for you. I can provide coaching throughout the entire book writing or dissertation process from developing ideas, to getting words on the page, to navigating publishing options and submission.

Need help getting an article, paper, or dissertation over the finish line? I can give you that extra boost of confidence with a thorough edit for language, grammar, flow, consistency, references and citations, and general layout and readability. I have expertise in Chicago and APA styles, and a working knowledge of AMA, CSE, and MLA. Highly experienced in editing science and technical materials, I can edit complex content without changing intent.

Whether you’re looking for a quick polish before publication, a line edit to improve flow, or a developmental edit to help you figure out where you’re going, I’d love to work with you. I believe in preserving the writer’s voice and intentions and strengthening creative work through a collaborative editing process. I have proofread, copyedited, and helped develop memoir, narrative nonfiction, essays, and poetry. I can give feedback without breaking spirits.

I am a versatile editor with twenty years’ experience proofreading and copyediting texts from knitting books to math articles to science curriculum. Experienced in online workflows and communication, I am accustomed to working with Chicago, APA, MLA, and CSE in addition to house style. I am adept with both complicated text and complicated authors, and approach each project with curiosity, thoroughness, and diplomacy.
